File browser is a horrendous Gallery view, where ALL the folders on your device show up in some random order, making it damn near impossible to find ANYTHING if you have a hundred folders. Get REAL file browser functionality! Icons at the top of the screen when something is playing, are blocked by the notch in my Moto7 screen. Music stops playing if I turn my display off or do ANYTHING else, making this app completely useless to me. VERY few options.
Offers the features that make it unique, but no others. Can't free-form zoom; can't even change the zoom from within the player, you have to go into the app's settings each time. Swipe-scrubbing, a feature cloned from VLC and MX Player, is cloned terribly. A slight swipe will sent you back or forward by minutes, not seconds. Overall this is a work in progress, but not movie watching material as of yet.
The app is very good and does what it claims to do. However, there is one crippling factor: lack of support for playing in the background! I mean -- that's the essence of being a "night" player, and it's why I installed it to begin with. At night, while playing sounds during sleep, the screen is to be turned OFF to conserve battery power while the sound remains on. I sincerely hope you add that in. I will definitely make it a 5-star rating when that is included. Thanks.
