I can't believe I just heard about this app! my 6 year old son loves read alouds by me. I like to make voices and sounds while I read and go all in. This app is amazing. He wants me to read the same book again and again and your selection is great! I just wish I could create my own simple SoundClouds because we have a lot of Christian stories and books I would like to use this for. So, it would be great if there was a simple option for creating a track with predetermined sounds (buttons)
Very cute idea. Pacing is a little weird sometimes and I feel like I get interrupted with some of the sounds. Also, supposed to get 5 free experiences/month. I got 2. It said I had 3 more available, but would not allow me to select a new book. The only option was to sign up for the (expensive) program, no way around it. I just opted into the free trial, but I will be cancelling after the 7 days.
I use this app multiple times a day as an elementary school librarian. It never fails to help grab the student's attention and hold it during story time. Even our upper grades (5-6) love to hear the stories with the music and sound effects added. I can't recommend this app enough! For optimal usage, I connect a Bluetooth speaker to my phone and set the speaker a short distance away to prevent the sounds from overwhelming the input on my phone. Keeps everything flowing just right!
