It manages my OBD link MX plus, installs new firmware, downloads and installs the vehicle specific data, displays and clear as old error codes. If there was interference during the update of the firmware normally due to Torque Pro kicking in when you didn't want it to, it recovers that as well. If you want, you'll go through and read all of the buses at the same time and display all of the codes from all of the buses. I don't know anything else that can do that at anywhere near this price.
I have been using OBDLink MX and MX+ for over 10 years. The first couple of years I used Torque Pro because it has more features and customization. I switched back to OBDLink App around 2018 and have been using the updated app since then. The MX+ added all the enhanced OBD packages I needed. The OBD adapters and app save me a lot of time troubleshooting. It also gives me the data I wanted (coolant temp, battery voltage, transmission temp, shift lock out status) on my screen/HUD.
This app has saved me lots of money over the last 5 or 6 years. And I have help family and friends save some money also. The only thing that frustrates me is that sometimes it seems to take a long time for the Bluetooth to connect. But once it connects it is a very easy app for me, a non-- mechanic, to use. I'm sure it can do way more stuff than I know about it. It works well for my skill level.
