Everything works fine. My only problem is when I need to pair my headset. There was barely any help for pairing on Quest 2, and I ended up giving up. On an older phone, though, it connected perfectly fine, but I couldn't cast. Code never showed up like it said on the app, and when I went to the website for help, it mostly showed different headsets. When I finally found help for my headset, it was very confusing, and the instructions were very short.
This app is buggy. First, I had to go down a weird rabbit hole to get my phone notifications to display on the headset, which is a convoluted process in the app itself. Then, chat doesn't load new messages except on the first time opening the app fresh. I have to force close the app, reopen, and then I can see the new chat message, but only as long as I don't leave the chat screen. Once I leave the chat screen, I can no longer send or receive new messages.
There are so many things wrong with meta app. So Much so that the report a problem button doesn't even work with unhelpful customer service. If you're looking to buy a headset, get a quest 2 for its games, battery life, ease of use, and cheap price. If you're looking to get heavy into VR, don't buy a quest.
