PLEASE don't put the tiny vertical dots drop-down menu in the corner so close to the "click here to play this video accidentally." It's so frustrating. I use Odysee a lot. And lately it's just showing a white screen when I try to open it up. I do not want to watch YT or BitChute. But I have to keep force closing and restarting this app. The BEST features are that I can play in the background and that it always saves my progress and picks up where I left off. "Recently viewed" is glitching lately
It is so buggy to the extent I cannot open the app without seeing a white screen. Landscape UI is not good. Full screen glitching out and giving up — means that the phone controls are covering the video controls — . I can detect that the app is disigned as a web page, that's why sometimes I see white screen and UI glitches. Overall if it was fully open source it might be fixable from the community; The platform is the best tho, the recommendations and videos are ✨ quality ✨ Fix bugs = 5 star
Since the last update in August it's taken roughly three attempts to open the app each time without getting a blank white screen. Other than that it's been a fantastic app with background play etc. I think people would like the ability to hide videos from their following tab similar to YouTube though.
