Great app! I download maps to SD card to save room on internal memory; have pinned hundreds of places in separate bookmark sets; use the app almost every day to plot waling/driving trips offline. I had a problem with the app locking up, messaged developers, who responded right away, solved the problem by recommending a faster SD card. Love this app. Would like to be able to backup bookmark sets by dragging and dropping to laptop. And would really like to be able to edit bookmarks on the laptop.
I really like this map app and what it stands for. Unfortunately I can't use it as my primary navigation app because it doesn't have traffic information and does not route based on traffic conditions. Update 12/27: Reducing stars. Cannot use navigation mode because screen turns off. This happens even when "keep the screen on" option is ticked. Running on pixel 5.
I was a maps.Me longtime user, disappointed by their increasing limitations. I looked for a replacement, and didn't find omaps until it was mentioned on hacker News/ycombinator, and they work just as I expect. One tiny glitch is that's too easy to delete maps in the download section. Maybe there should be a confirmation dialog.
