this app is super helpful managing my meds. I get reminders to take my meds and reminders of when I can refil my meds that aren't able to be refilled. I would give it 5 stars, but the whole prescription process is so clumsy in general. not optums fault, but even with the ones that can't be on auto refill, I feel like they could still send the request without me having to push the button, etc. lifes still better than without the app, so 4 stars!!
The app is difficult to navigate when you want to do anything other than view your previous orders or order status. The app doesn't allow you to change account information. If there is a problem with an order, there is no way to address it through the app. You have to call the company, and they employ a call center (in East Asia), whose attendents (or "advocates") aren't equipped with the skills or tools necessary to resolve anything but the most basic issues. I have to call for each Rx I get.
2 stars because of poor navigation design. It is counterintuitive to make a payment. I get emails that I have a balance due, go to the app, and it's like trying to solve a jigsaw puzzle to pay my balance. I just spent several minutes looking through the screens trying to pay the balance, and gave up. I've never seen an app where it's this convoluted to pay your bill. It should be the first, most conspicuous, most obvious button you see on the screen. Why is the navigation so counterintuitive?
