Dictionary Mode:
The dictionary mode is an enhanced version of what you might see in a standard ghost box. It uses the detectable energy field around your device to select and voice a word from the extensive built-in dictionary. We do not use any form of random generation or algorithm to create speech in any sequence or structured form. When energy changes are detected, the magnitude of the change is used to select 1 of 4096 predefined words. During standard operation the Ovibox can voice many words. This is the environmental changes around the Ovilus triggering the voice. It’s widely held that paranormal events create changes in the environment, which is what we aim to capture here. These events could be detected and used to voice words from the Ovibox.

Phonetic Mode:
In this mode, speech is formed using phonemes (parts of speech) from environmental readings. In Phonetic Mode there are no predefined words. Just the building blocks of speech themselves. In Phonetic Mode, both Male and Female phonemes are included. We use 12 audio channels to allow larger words or phrases to be formed this way.

Energy Mode:
This feature displays energy level readings in a waveform graph. When in Energy Mode, the energy is graphed, allowing you to visualize how dynamic energy fields are rather than just displaying an averaged number like a majority of magnetometers. Although Energy Mode may appear to respond to vibration, it is actually responding to static and electromagnetic fields. You don't need to touch the device to get a reading, as the energy near the device is often sufficient, although environmental conditions may vary. For instance, if you approach a live electrical outlet, you will see a spike in the readings. It is highly recommended, for the best accuracy, to remove anything magnetic from your device like credit cards or a magnetic phone case.

Motion Mode:
Utilizing the built in accelerometer this mode displays motion fluctuations enabling small movements to be visualized. Motion Mode allows you to visualize vibration. A great way to watch for footsteps on a staircase or ask for something to touch the device.

Recorder Mode:
The built in recorder was made with specific audio enhancements and sound profile to enhance small changes in audio, similar to the DR60. In addition, any audio picked up by the device is displayed in the visualizer. This allows you to not only get better audio captures, but shows you visually if someone is talking or responding to you.
