2 stars. The functionality of the app is okay. Very gitchy and you had to open the app and sign in if you wanted it to work. The timer on certain apps would only work after you opened and logged into the app. Also, I own a pixel 6, and the app completely blocked the function of my home screen. I did everything I could think of to fix the problem and I ended up taking it to a store to fix it. The employee said that the app blocked some operations on my phone. Don't download. Not worth it.
I love the idea of the app, and would have given it 4 stars for functionality. BUT it just spontaneously stops working after a couple weeks or so. For example, I try to keep YouTube blocked on my children's devices, it will block it until one day it just won't, no warning. If you want an app you don't have to interact with, double check that ot is still working, and reapply the same settings regularly, try the other similar apps.
On the surface the app works great, then I found out how many ways around it there are. A twelve year old figured out at least three ways that I know of to continue to watch YouTube after I had it blocked. Picture in picture will still work, the links can be accessed through messenger, and if he restarts the phone in safe mode the app is still accessible. Maybe this kid is just good at finding loopholes, or maybe there are too many.
