Frustrating app, it worked well on my old version 10 android, but won't work on my new android 13 phone, it is meant to be compatible with my device. It freezes on the opening screen, which shows just the apps logo and NHS logo, but no options. I've uninstalled & reinstalled & turned my phone off & on, countless times, but still it's not working! It works on my PC, so I contacted the company, whilst they've tried to help, nothing they suggested has rectified it, I've given up & uninstalled it.
You design a perfectly good app and then you add a "verification number via text" - and now it really is quite common that the system malfunctions and takes you round and round resending the verification code until it locks you out of the app saying please come back later, but doesn't tell you how long! That's inexcusable but very in keeping with the current state of our NHS.
Is mainly a useful app, but this constant text message code to sign in makes the username and password combo useless... there is no need to have this if i want to sign in my own account with my own trusted device, using the app itself. It is every single time for sign in - it is asking for a new code... why not just have a fingerprint signin instead? Also, if you struggle to read SMS messages from a mobile phone (of you even have one) you won't be able to access the app - as no alternative way!
