The app is very convoluted and it's not clear how to set up basic functions like "record when you detect motion (or eating)". I was able to eventually figure how to dispense food on a schedule, but still haven't figured out how to record when my cats show up. I have a SD card inserted. I just can't figure out how to get the app to record when I'm not watching.
Worked fine with minimal hiccups until the latest update.... After the update, no food came out at all. The manual feed button suddenly did nothing. I could still see via the video feed. I tried adding another feed time to the schedule and the entire schedule disappeared. I deleted the feeder and now I cannot seem to pair it despite the flashing wifi.
There are two apps and Petlibro says to check the PN number in battery compartment after the "C" to determine which app to use. Problem is, my Canary feeding has no "C" in that number... Additionally, when I set a schedule for motion detection, it doesn't respect the schedule (it fires at any time) and when switching off that setting it doesn't get saved until after multiple tries.
