Originally I said this app was great and gave it 5 stars. But I had to come back and change that after weeks of use. This app is great in a pinch if u lose ur remote. However. Half the time the app just won't connect to the TV it seems to get stuck when u select the TV ..normally a Spanish add will pop up u just click no and the remote pops up. The add seems to freeze the app I think...also if u use the remote leave the app open it times out after 5 min or so. It works tho I geuss.
Was unable to connect to tv using either method of WiFi or IR. Using wifi pop-up showed "connect using same network," which I was. When attempting to connect via IR, I was taken to a group of remote controls pictures. Selecting the correct image only enlarged the pic, but nothing else. Additionally, when selecting in app menu "connection help" nothing happened. Uninstalled. No time or patience to deal with an app that doesn't even provide any help instructions
This has been my go to app for a long time. Now it's spazing out and my TV is literally playing my show I just turned on with my app... but now the remote won't connect. I've restarted everything! I've Uninstalled and reinstalled... andnnow nothing still. Just grrrr... I can't even shut it off cuz my kid/husband lost the remote!
