I've been using this widget for a long time. This morning I checked my phone and the widget was displaying a message that the image wasn't found even though it's in the same place it has always been. I then tried removing and re-adding the widget but it's just completely blank. No border, no image. I can only guess that it's now broken due to the recent Android 10 related update that was done. This is happening on a OnePlus 6T.
Have used for a long time. Woke up this morning to all my on screen photos being gone from the homescreens. (but still shows the widget active) This has happened several times over the past few years. Most often I end up re-doing them. Trying to do that now but Photos are not appearing on screen after multiple attempts. I tap where the photo should be and all I get is app info. Nice widget.... If & when it works.
Won't fill up the entire space when the widget is enlarged. It's great that you can click on it to enlarge, but can't scroll thru the album it comes from. Hitting the back button takes you into the gallery- not useful.
