Previously ROMWOD the relaunch destroyed the app to be almost unusable. iOS design in Android makes it totally confusing, buttons changed positions randomly around (like marking a workout as complete) and have to be searched for. There is no dark mode anymore. Streaming doesn't work reliable. App continues playback in the background after exit. Better stay clear!
I'd have to say after trying the app, it looks like the creators are on the right track. There are plenty of videos of exercises for different flexibility levels. But the videos themselves need improvement. Some videos have very dark backgrounds with dark-complected individuals sitting on black mats. The lack of contrast in color makes it very hard to see what they're doing. Also, the front angle is often shot very far. Why? Get a closer shot. Make it easier for us to see the exercises.
New pliability™️ app, day 1 review: I've been using Romwod since Jan of this year 4-5 days per week. My recovery, range of motion, and general resilience have increased significantly. My biggest complaint about the new app is how the music is no longer tailored to the routine. It doesn't stop when you pause the routine, it doesn't turn down when the narrator is speaking, it changes tracks with no flow or cross fading, it doesn't even stop when the routine ends. Hoping for improvement!
