I've used the Plum Village app for about 18 months. It has been invaluable- the podcast "The Way Out is In" is wonderful and there are many breathing meditations of varying length and deep relaxations in the particular Plum Village tradition as taught by Thich Nhat Hanh. It's easy to navigate and I couldn't do without it now - it really does help in a very practical way to calm body & mind and practice mindfulness in a way I otherwise wouldn't. I'm very grateful for this app!
I found this app through the plum village podcast on Spotif. It's good app, with wonderful resources. The podcast "The way out is in" is on it as well. I started listening to the podcast in my car, needing something more positive than the often negative talk back radio I couldn't seem to get away from no matter how many times I changed channels. It has been 4 months now on an almost daily routine to & from work or elsewhere. Now I listen at home & walks. Thank you, thank yo Jo & Phap Huu xxxxx.
It's a beautiful app, really like having a small pocket monastery if you cannot go on a retreat right now. :) Plus it's free, and humble, it's got translations in a few languages so that even my mom may use it, and has a beautiful selection of gongs in the meditation timer. Thank you very much for this treasure.
