The app works great if you want to find raids anywhere in the world. If you only use it for that purpose, it won't disappoint. Keep in mind the volume of GO! players using the app... you may have to be patient when trying to join a raid with a boss who's newly released. I would have given 5*, but the auto-join feature has been very unreliable. I have waited hours, only to have the function shut off when I'm next or have 1 trainer ahead of me. Then I'm back at the end of the line. 😡
It could be a great app, but too many issues for what it is. My main gripes are it is definitely geared towards people using the autojoin function, which requires collecting coins, or paying money for them. But when you do use autojoin you can wait a long time (i waited nearly an hour for it). Not everyone has time to just hang out staring at their phone. Trying to join manually has become a joke. It feels like they have intentionally lagged the screen to join a room, leaving you out of luck.
I really enjoy the app, the only thing I am not the biggest fan of is the lack of a changelog or release note feature. I am noticing a lot of things that are either released or changed but don't have a clear description or explanation. Some sort of release notes on things changed would be super helpful, and if there is already, it being more widely accessible would be awesome.
