Hi so I just installed it and played with it for 2 seconds, and so far I love it, I am going to fully try tomorrow while filming my next YouTube video, for my channel. And I'll give an updated review. So far 3 starts, for a great interface and features Update So this 2 days after I installed, and I am about to Uninstall it. App has bugs, and there are almost no updates (based on what people said here) so no one to fix the bugs, and it is a yearly subscription, with out support, so no thanks.
Ludicrous claims, but a decent camera app. LOG profile is nowhere close to Arri C, and applying a standard C to 709 lut in Resolve results in extremely high contrast and saturation. Footage from this app is soft and clips badly, while the lower bit rate footage with identical settings in the native LG app was recoverable and resulted in no clipping after grading. This app does have great meters (waveform, histogram, etc) but the resulting image quality is worse overall. Can't recommend it.
Didn't buy it, but have played around, and it doesn't seem to perform up to specs. The biggest issue is the white balance. No matter what I do, it's not right. It's still way way too warm. It only corrects when in Auto, but then it's jumping around all over the place like a seizure. The point is so I can control it manually, but can't at all.... The image quality also appears to be not as good. Not sure if it's me or not, but it looks less detailed, less sharp
