It scans as well as any other QR code app I've seen, but it installs a Lock Screen that cannot be disabled. I've seen responses by the developers saying otherwise, but their instructions are wrong (Setup is currently in the bottom right of the screen, not the upper left) and, even when you get there, the option to turn the lock screen off is not among the possibilities. I've got no problem with ads, so long as they don't overwhelm the phone. That is not the case for this app. I can't even exit the program with repeated Back commands because there is a splash screen where I have to click Exit. I am uninstalling it as soon as I finish this review. (this was supposed to be a new paragraph): The publishers responded to my review (the paragraph above), but I think it was a copy and paste because they only addressed the first complaint (and their advice is still wrong).
App was surprisingly good, but then a few days later lockscreen ads started showing up. Because it felt like malware and because I had to dig around for why it was happening to my phone I removed it. I feel like if I understood from the beginning that this app had lockscreen ads I wouldn't have deleted it so hastily. You may want to update your description to include that. This app also helped me trim the fat from my phone and I uninstalled 5 or 6 other apps that might have been culprits as well.
Worked ok the one or 2 times I used it. When it started popping up ads after phone calls i decided it was time to uninstall it. The developer's excuse that ads are needed to fund their efforts is unacceptable when my phone call usage has nothing to do with their product. I can and have accepted ads within the context of applications I use. The ads which follow my phone calls are beyond an inconvenience - they are an unacceptable nuisance.
