not worth paying for. it does alert but don't tell you what, your child can make and recieve all the calls they want even if the number isn't program on the list. the app started out doing well but after it updates it isn't the same. they can also be on their phones even if time restriction is set, as long as app is active when time is up they can stay on that app. if they touch their phone screen and display doesn't shut off it uses on the time limit. those are the highlights.
The app is problematic and not user-friendly in what it offers. The app should be able to set individual lengths AND times of use. EXAMPLE- I should be able to either set YouTube for 3 hours per day of choice OR/AND only between a time like 6 om and 10 pm. The app fails sometimes wirh stopping a webpage or access and it lets it through for a bit before blocking it. These are just 2 of the annoying things.
Qustodio is way too expensive for the outdated. As a parent you can get alerts... By email. It's 2024. Even free apps can send push notifications. Most of the functionality is only accessible from the the web browser. You can't add extra time from the app, which is a core feature missing. Honestly... What's the point of even having a parent's app if it doesn't have basic functionality? Lastly my kids has no way to request more time or exceptions to rules. Cheaper apps work way better.
