It's been a good service helping our kids learn to read, but it REALLY needs an option to disable sounds for the parents. When I open the app, it plays a loud startup sound that has no purpose and I don't want to hear. If I have my media volume down to not hear it, the app nags me to turn up the volume for the "best experience." No, the best experience would be to not have the startup sound in the first place and not to be nagged that you don't like me having the app muted.
All around, it's a great learning app for kids aged 5-13 for reading skills. Math is good. I just would like to see a map for higher grades, like with reading . App doesn't crash like other ratings have suggested. The only thing that I can suggest is the stadium for playing against others is not compatible for many as there is never anyone on for competition, which leaves empty rankings on my child's progress.
My two year old enjoyed playing the games on the app. For the games where he had to pick the correct letter or number he would purposely choose the wrong one because he thought the sound it made was funny, so that was a little frustrating. The app would also regularly glitch. It would freeze in the middle of the game, play the sound for the next activity, but only show the background, and was generally glitchy. The app was installed on a "compatible device" so it was rather annoying.
