Like others I bought this at least 10 years ago and it's one I always come back to. I don't like the simple default calculators that come on phones. Even if I don't use the advanced features that much, it's nice to know they're there. The nostalgia feeling is great too. I'll often load up RealCalc on my phone instead of grabbing my real life calculator especially if the room is dark, that's no problem for RealCalc.
I LOVE this program. Laid out very similar to what I used in school for years. I'm constantly reaching for it and so far haven't had any issues with it. If you enjoy using a more traditional calculator for general or classroom use, you can't pass this up. Especially because the free version isn't handicapped in annoying ways like most other apps. My thanks to the developers for that! 😃 However, the layout changes w/paid ver and that sucks. Also, trig funcs have a rounding error far out.
I just now purchased the upgrade after using the free version for close to a decade -- and I use it every day. I didn't even care about or pay $3.49 for what the upgrade offers, but rather felt the usefulness I've received from the free version all these years finally deserved some remuneration. My experience (or, at least with the free version) is that it's a simple, standard calculator, but it works *really well*. Brava Quartic. Looking forward to seeing what the upgrade can do.
