The amount of, and quality of, content on this app is outstanding, but the UX is absolutely horrendous on fire TV. No search? No favorites section? No clear navigation? I can find things online and star them, but then no clear way to find those. I can find things on my phone that aren't on the fireTV app? I really hope this gets sorted but it's been almost 3 years and it just seems to get worse.
The fact that all this content is free feels like a dream to be honest. The documentaries are awesome, the features are awesome, the fact that you can stream live events is friggen awesome. No, this isn't a paid review. I'm actually impressed by how good this app is. It's a must download for anyone who follows any type of extreme outdoors sport.
No casting support and search cannot find available content e.g. WRC Sweden Friday highlights. A poor substitute to real TV and what happens when marketing is more important than actual content, make the service work in a way that allows you to find the content you are looking for rather than insisting on passing off a 3 minute reel as a highlights programme.
