so it's a few years between owning a new hoverboard. and it's not like riding a bike. app seems to have multiple issues like location permissions is allowed but needs system modification permissions but not available in list to do so. had issues with setting up user profile to get all access for board settings but would not take effect and just return to default previous settings. When I first downloaded this app over 2yrs ago, it functioned as expected. In the meantime I have noticed a loss of most functionality, and in an attempt to restore it I Uninstaller and reinstalled it. After granting the first two permissions it locked up and opened a screen with a gramatically difficult requirement that seemed to translate to, "grant this permission". When I pressed the okay, it opened a screen to allow system modification, but the ridejetson app is not on that list. That's it.
Board is fine, but I bought it because of the supposed app features. The app worked the first time I used it a while back. Tried to use it just now (several times) and it is plain garbage. BT won't connect at all...app tells me to give location permissions and takes me to a list of apps on my phone that does not include theirs. I manually go to settings and to the app, and it has location permissions on already. But when I go to the app, it automatically pops up saying give permissions. TRASH
