I have an old Roku 1 streaming device that was given to me, it's been extremely slow and lagging really bad! I mostly listen to music videos on YouTube. My Roku remote and other apps I've downloaded I'd have to hit the button 3 or 4 times to get it to respond and then it would take forever to download song to play. It was so bad I'd disconnect it and not even use it! This app I've just downloaded, it's a world of difference from the start, much faster! Only hit button once. Amazing improvement!
This is the best Roku remote app going for my Android 10 OS phone. It has a small footprint, loads fast and has quick command response. What ads it has are very unobtrusive and don't insert themselves into the user experience. I recently found a small bug in the device renaming process. I contacted them, they found the bug and had it fixed and an update rolled out within 24hrs. That's dedicated service. Edit : I have since renamed my three devices and the bug is indeed fixed. Quick response.
This app used to be so good and even best for connectivity out of all roku apps. But recently they show ads every time you switch app and come back u have to click twice to get to remote and also they keep making the button to go back to roku app (remote) on ads page smaller and smaller. Ads are ok if u display once in a while not every time u switch app.
