This app is functional only for viewing character sheets, but it doesn't allow editting and hasn't for almost a year since the last update. It doesn't allow battlemaps to be seen, monster/beast statblocks or handouts. It lacks the basic necessities that roll20 provides on other platforms and makes itself all but useless, when opening the website on a mobile browser has more options. Hopefully, effort is put in to give the app the basic necessities and render it useful.
It's sad really, the layout and everything is almost perfect. Easy to navigate, but you can't edit your own sheets which seems like the biggest oversight. It is a character sheet viewer for the game, why wouldn't I be able to edit my own character? As a DM I was planning on having my players use the app for a easier ecosystem but most don't have computers to actually edit the sheets, and I'm not the kind of Dm to treat their players like children and not let them edit stats. Fix and I'll switch.
This app is an extremely watered down version of roll20. You cannot make characters, use any form of charactermancer, see the battlemap, or any important action beyond simply looking at and editing your preexisting character sheets. It does, however, run reasonably fast with an easy and accessible UI. This is a companion app for the normal roll20 experience, and though there's no need for that, it works just fine for that purpose. It's not roll20, and while that's fine, it's still disappointing.
