This is a good app for simply getting fuel conveniently, however, the rewards system is flawed I feel. It rewards you on the amount of visits you have, opposed to the amount of fuel you buy. So you are better going in often for a small amount, but this doesn't work well for me. Bit annoying. But like I say,app works great otherwise.
Worse feature is that shell only give "fuel rewards" (discounts) per visit, not per spend: there are 10 "unlocks" per discount tier so a person spending £10 per visit and makes 10 separate visits earns 10 unlocks and gets the top faster than the person who fills up once costing £100 even though their £spend is the same at £100. It should be on spend, not visit, or even a combination of both.
Would be great if it loaded when at the petrol station🙄 everytime I go to fill up & get my phone scanned the app fails to launch? Phone has a great signal but what I am supposed to do keep the three or four people behind me waiting for your app to load when it never does💔yep it's broken🙄think it will be time soon to find another petrol station with better loyalty schemes than Shell, saving what you can is important now days or maybe send out a card to scan as the app is a failure!!!
