This app as many flaws for my android phone. When the phone is paired to my hearing aids the app makes the phone exclusively mine. Others can not use the phone because it streams to the phone eliminating phone speakers and microphone. When I use the phone there is a time delay on the speaker. Another problem is the app does not save setting used to meet your needs. Example, I increase the treble level. Each morning I have to modify the phone settings. More problems, ran out of space.
The Signia app needs lots of work. For example the app should be able to turn your hearing aids on or off or at least restart the Bluetooth connection. The app doesn't seem to respond well to the Bluetooth connection to the hearing aids. It would also be nice if you are streaming audio to your hearing aids that there was a Mute Stream button and something that showed the status of what was being streamed. The app could also be laid out better.
I would like to be able to say that this app is abysmal but honestly, it's just not that good. It does not stay connected to the hearing aids and when connected it does not allow left and right volume to be adjusted independently, it's both or nothing. I would suggest you get some first year software college students to show you how to write software that works. Btw, I'm a certified software quality engineer.
