Initial setup is nightmare. Usability is not good to put it softly! I tried to setup Wi-Fi Plug Pro 14 data logger and I spend like hour and half to figure out what needs to be done. Constant "Targeting permission is not enabled" error on the screen when trying to connect to the data logger. What is this supposed to mean?! All app permissions were already given. Also why do I need to go through the login every time?!
After configuring Wi-Fi settings data logger is visible to my router; however when I try to add it to a plant it says the device is offline. Nothing that I do can bring it back online, so I cannot add it to the plant and I cannot gather any data Customer service advised me to use the SmartESS app instead and now I can collect data . Very good support, very satisfied
Very very poor aap - not recommended at all - stay away from this . it always give faulty data for analysis. I have seen a lot of customers not happy and it has been informed a number of times that app has bugs - but no one bothers at all. This clearly shows that developers are not interested in any type of feed back and not willing to correct and help its customers . how can power generation be more than installed Capacity and battery charging status more than 2143% . It has been 2 years now.
