Used the old solarman for years was easy to understand. It's now got loads extra that I am not interested in. But once you close the app an reopen it's all reset. There should be 2 option on the app basic mode and expert this would make the app more attractive to beginners and more advanced users that need all the extras. To be honest I just want to know how full my batteries are and how many kW I've used or charged a day. The old app was just what I wanted. But I guess other people want more.
Great app, very ergonomic and insightful if you're using the correct settings. I have two inverters, one hybrid and one on-grid and I could see their stats consistent with their technology type on the app. People are complaining about the 5m unconfigureable interval between updates. That's a characteristic of the data logger device, not the app.
There is no way to check PV1 and PV2 production separately. This is very important data if you want to upgrade and don't know to which string to connect new panels to. Also you can't save any settings in data tab.
