Works with mixpre 3 II firmware 6.00 and above. But it doesn't work when you don't allow location information. It will just not connect to the device. Functionality needs to improve and be able to change settings from the phone instead of a tiny screen. When you do allow location tracking and connect, yeah you can see some meters and that's it. Uninstalled directly after renting a mixpre. Will not be using it again.
Held back one star due to the fact that you can only edit metadata from the app. U can't use your phone's keyboard to name projects or takes, which would be an amazingly useful feature set & eliminate the need to plug in an external keyboard. I assume their aim was increased security. However, security can be ensured by requiring a pw, which Sound Devices implemented already. Pls add this functionality. It would be nice to modify levels, select playback tracks, & deep menu control from the app.
Update: still haven't fixed the app crashing when putting a long amount of notes in the 633. -- Love this app so much. Very easy to use. Would love if they let me put longer text in the notes section without it crashing. Also I can't read any notes past the width of my screen.
