Great in general. Best functionality of any player I've used. Some problems: 1) a lot of content you hear about just isn't there, or at least it takes ages to get to the Stitcher database. Not obscure content either (from MSNBC, etc. 2) periodically (circa 3-4 times per year) it just stops updating podcasts, and sometimes this requires Stitcher to reset something for you to fix. The latter can lead to frustrating rounds of flushing cache/data, reinstalling etc.
This latest update required me to uninstall and reinstall the app just to get in, and it now appears all my listening history and favorites list has been wiped out. I'm horrified. Update 6/26/23: the above issue was never fixed. Now I'm having playback issues. The audio will skip backwards multiple times while listening, and then end early, so I'm missing full chunks of episodes. This has been going on for a while and just when I think it's fixed, it happens again.
I've used the stitcher app for years with no issue. Just within the past several months or so there are so many playback issues. It will play for 5 minutes and stop, give me errors a few times, play again for another 5 min, rinse repeat. I usually listen while driving and so this is SO frustrating. I'm not sure what the problem is but I'm about ready to just delete the whole thing. I use other streaming apps with ZERO issues.
