This app connected immediately and easily on my Pixel 7 Pro. However, to save a photo or video, it requires access to ALL of your photos and videos on your entire phone, no exceptions. This is a deliberate and sketchy choice by the app developers--an app doesn't need special permission to just save and view its own photos/videos. Some other apps make similarly broad requests for no reason, but this one is also from a developer nobody has ever heard of with no reputation. Super sketchy.
I think it's harder to connect on Samsung devices. This is what I did 1. Turn on wax remover, download app. 2. A pop up came up "Internet may not be available"-I clicked the "Always Connect" prompt 2. Go to Settings>Connections>Wi-Fi>ADVANCED>Switch to mobile data>Network exceptions (Advanced setting is found by clicking the 3 dots at the top right corner) 3. You should see in the Network exceptions page "Suear" 4. connect to the Suear wifi normally through app or phone
Most of the negative reviews are people who can't figure out their phone. App works great. There are android settings that prevent you from connecting to WiFi without internet. Anyone who knows how to follow directions in the box will be fine. Worst case scenario you have to Google how to change certain settings for one network. The app does it's job and even allows you to take pictures or record while using it.
