This is a great app. It's really easy to use and perfect for learners of Syrian Arabic. I especially love the teaching section which is a bit like Duolingo but for Syrian (which isn't available in Duolingo). There are a few little errors (like typos) in the teaching section, but it's easy to recognise them and not get confused. There is no written Arabic, only transliteration, but that's fine for me as there are plenty of other ways to learn the writing system.
This app has a lot of bugs but for anyone trying to study dialect Arabic you know how hard it is to find good resources. The English-->Arabic dictionary is very helpful but unfortunately does not use Arabic script at all and has a system of transliteration that is difficult to guess making the Arabic-->English dictionary almost useless. The learn feature has lots of glitches and typos but is still helpful in getting some basic grammar concepts. Good supplement to other learning materials
I have just finished level 3 of the learning part. It is very similar to duolingo but better!! A native Arab speaker is supporting me which makes this a fantastic learning experience. Would be even more awesome to hear the words and phrases.
