I've tried others and nothing comes close. I really like the text to voice prompts. Update: I just got the Samsung smartwatch and I'm glad to see that it sends the notification to the watch so it'll vibrate between intervals. 👍 Update 2: I use this app everyday not only for exercising but for cooking and sitting in different positions. Very versatile!
I love the flexibility of this app. I customize it for different types of workouts not just tabata but anything where you want to build in recovery time and work time and determine your number of rounds etc. It really helps with a Murph I never realized that doing one minute on to get through the set and a 1 minute rest to recover will get it done in the 40 minutes (minus the runs) and do it much easier than trying to go all out.
I adore this app because I'm able to listen to any music I want to instead of having to look up a tabata playlist of covers that suck most of the time. And if you could get the premium you can program it in so many different ways, and save them individually each workouts you make. I'm sure there's fitness instructors who can do many workouts and save them and then pull out the one you need or want when you're instructing a class. How handy right? Anyways I love this app it's been great.
