I would prefer an option to close the translated text like before(with a tap instead of the new swipe up), though the new way may be better. One improvement would be if it could separate different colored text with an option. It sometimes gives weird phrases from unrelated ones. More importantly, though, the overlapping text is a common bug, which needs some work. In general, though, I like it, and find that it suits my needs. Edit: the new button is really ugly, and there's no customization -1*
It's a very good app but however it has a few issues. However those issues are quite common amongst apps like these. *WARNING* This app feature must be turned off before you turn off your device! Failure to do so may result in your device turning on and off, a prompt will pop up asking whether or not to do a factory reset, and potentially lock you out of your phone basically forever. (Because on and off loop) It does have disruptive ads I wish were less intrusive and maybe options to reduce it
It was a decent app, until the update. It helped me read Chinese. Now, nothing works. Before, it didn't always read the characters on the page and it had difficulty translating using just one tap, making it time consuming. In Chinese, new words are formed by adding more strokes to a base character or combining characters. Since the meaning of the characters change, depending on how it's used in a sentence. Sometimes, translations come out as gibberish. Also, it can't translate from top down.
