Problematic. Shows expired contact less cards, but you can't delete them. One of my oyster cards doesn't show (but it does on the Web version). Although the app is the latest version, it shows the warning about needing to update and it's very difficult getting this message to disappear. If you do manage, it reappears the next time you open the app. Potentially really good, but these two issues are very frustrating
Uninstalled in 2019 when it would frequently sign out & payment would time out. It has improved on this front, but still shows incorrect credit & incomplete journeys. In 4 years they haven't updated the system for top ups to be instant rather than 30 minutes & only give the user 3 days to tap in - if you don't, it will take 9 working days for your money to go back into your account. Use it as there is a level of convenience when it works properly but it's still basic & very frustrating.
It's supposed to send notifications when balance is low or travelcards are expiring but it just constantly logs you out and you get dinged. I've missed trains because my balance suddenly drops too low and I can't get through barriers. You can't turn off 2FA which really slows everything down and the Captcha is super buggy. Can't add "missing touch" when the station barriers don't log your tap or report faulty barriers, which would actually be useful.
