I really like this app. Yes, it disconnects from my phone frequently, but that is because I move around and often get out of range. And I really like the graph function as I can see how it could help analysis to improve my smoking. But the graph restarts after each time the phone disconnects. I would give it 5 stars if it saved the graph and continued it once reconnected.
App could use a couple more features... Example would be to have the option to set a timer within the preset so alerted on time/temp whatever's comes first. Rather than setting each time, should be part of that created pre-set. Also, the temps should display on the phone's lock screen and, the notification area so you can leave the app minimized when phone is unoocked. Other than that, it does what I need it too.
Not sure what everyone is complaining about... I've used thermo on several cooks now and have never had an issue. Perhaps they don't understand how Bluetooth operates and what can interfere with connectivity (microwaves, steel beams in walls, other electronic devices that operate on the same frequency as Bluetooth). Super accurate and as long as I can control my Weber temps, I can sleep easy at night knowing this thing will wake me with ease in emergency situations
