I came to Tidal from Spotify because the sound quality is far superior. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. The algorithm is absolute garbage. It plays the same songs more than traditional radio. If I block a track or an artist, they still show up. I rarely discover anything new that I enjoy anymore. It constantly suggests genres of music I don't listen to. I'm so tired of this, that I'm about ready to sacrifice sound for variety and new music that actually interests me. Get it together, Tidal.
The app keeps stopping for no reason!!!! It used to work just fine. But for the last few months every time I try to listen to music on the song was just stop out of nowhere for no reason and I have to close the app and restart it in order to get my song to play. I'm paying for this app and I'm so annoyed that it's not working. All of my playlists are on this app. If I didn't have to move all these playlists, I would literally just delete the app and unsubscribe because this is crazy.
After trying all most popular music streaming platforms, and professionally analyzing the audio quality using the Null Test method, the winner is TIDAL. Topped by the fact that they pay artists more than the others, and integrates directly into Rekordbox, and allows conversion of all playlists from other platforms into TIDAL, there is no reason for me to go anywhere else. It still needs a search bar in the "Add to playlist" dialog (for when you have a lot of playlists), but otherwise its perfect
