Old app was perfect, after updates it no longer factors in traffic or road closures in route calculation or arrival times. Since it no longer factors in delays it will take you down ridiculous routes that may be shorter distance but far longer time-wise. Prior to the update it would try to route you around major slowdowns and the arrival times were fairly accurate. It's almost useless now but I keep it running as a supplement to my Garmin.
The new version doesnt factor in traffic when it estimates arrival times. And the estimate it does give seems better suited for a car.. I don't like that you can no longer filter truck stops mid journey, it just keeps showing you every single one. Setting your governor speed is a good idea, but still needs work. it's no longer crashing though and that is a huge step forward.
As far as the new graphics, showing us the locations of stop lights and restricted truck routes is very good. However, the color palette they have for the roads is not so good. The peach or orange or whatever looks too close to red, which makes me think there's a slowdown ahead when there isn't. The highways and route colors should be green unless there's a slowdown, then maybe yellow, orange, or red.
