Installed but won't create an account. After email verification, I get to the part of adding my phone number (I don't like that but understand it) and it says "something went wrong" and won't let me proceed with making an acct / using the app. From one dev to another, unhandled exceptions and generic, nondescript error messages are seriously sloppy coding! Pull it out you guys. There is a lot more at stake than just pictures of someone's dinner.
Can't even create an account. It's hard to attain users when the very first step tells me in a big red banner...oops, something went wrong! Can't create an account. Uninstalled, reinstalled five times. Restarted my phone. Same error. Same thing on my iPhone more than a year ago. Nothing has changed. It's hard to fight the tech overlords when none of the competitors work or they are complete dumpster fires. Maybe that's the point?
The app, overall, is good. I like it's UI much better than X. My complaint is that since the last update I no longer get any notifications for the profiles I've selected to get them from. I have to go into the app to see if anything has posted. The only notifications I get are from Truth Social for breaking news. I've emailed them several times but it's apparently not a priority for them. I hope they fix this soon. Very frustrating.
