Superior product. I chose Tutanota Mail because compared to the others they had all the features I needed. I really like the standalone apps for both Android and Windows. I think one of the key factors for choosing Tutanota over others is the company's culture. They are not made up of a large conglomerate, but a group of dedicated professionals wanting to provide privacy and security to others. I felt I could get behind that effort. Great product and features.
1/26/24 Update: My account (Premium/Revolutionary, $72/yr) has had an issue where calendar locks up on all platforms and I have to log in each event entered. Over a month now of emails with Support explaining the same thing over and over no resolution. This is not premium support. I like the concept and the service when it works. Fuctionality is less than you would experience elsewhere. I would work with this if it functioned as advertised, and had timely helpful support.
For secure email, this is the best app that I've been able to find. I'm still getting used to their desktop/cellphone client however, and I really miss the functionality of Thunderbird. I really wish there was a way to use the Thunderbird client with Tutanota since I have many years of Thunderbird emails stored on my HDD.
