Works great! I just miss when these apps were free and didn't have an ad every five seconds. You click 10 times, ad. You open the app, ad. You connect it to your TV, ad. But you can get rid of it! For only 26.99!... A month... Evil developer. With that money I can buy a replacement remote. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go pirate this app with unlocked features.
The app works fine but there are 2 issues, 1 is less of a concern but the other one is a big issue. The first one is every time you turn off the phone or close the app you have to reconnect. The other issue is you can't go 5 seconds without the app advertising it's premium. The first ad you get is right after you first connect so you are caught off guard and accidentally click on it.
It's a real pain. It doesn't do what the real remote does like adjust volume or have the microphone feature. Constantly have to reconnect. I paid for the lifetime subscription and it has ads! That's crazy! Response to Roku: none of the tips helped. $26 wasted. ETA: Nothing worked to fix it, so I was offered a refund. It's been about 2 weeks & still no refund.
