Way too many ads. One 30s ad after each download. Pretends to download slowly just so that you can watch more ads. I have seen many ad-ridden apps, this is one of the worst. Addendum: Increased rating because there is an option to purchase an ad-free version for a reasonable one-time payment. Interestingly, that also speeds up the downloads 😏
There was a bug for some users that prevented the download from working, and the developers quickly and transparently responded and informed the user base of the problem (via notifications). They then apparently rewrote large chunks of the code within a few days. Just an overall fantastic response to such a problem. The App itself always worked beautifully for me whenever I needed it. Extremely simple to use
So far working ok. It's simple to use to downloads gifs and vids off reddit. I have tried a ton these apps. So I'm used how they work. Only suggestion I have to able to rename the the in the app, because the file name is always random letters. Not a big deal I used file managers. I hope the dev will keep it updated.
