Terrible. Lost all great features from older app. Remote start constantly errors out. A disservice to the Volvo brand. Edit...just noticed that the app doesn't have half features shown in volvos pics. Over a year later and instead of adding new features, they seem to be removing them. Climate pre-warm fails to function now. They keep saying new features are being added. Its literally been years. Have been a full Volvo customer for 30 years. No more.
Now my app is showing a different colored car than what I have and my trunk is missing when I go to try and start it. I love the attention to detail, but overall, it's missing quite a bit. This app constantly has glitches where it won't start my car or won't connect to cell network or to my WIFI even in the most perfect conditions. Plus the app itself is pretty basic, and should involve more information than it has. My previous vehicle (Nissan) has an amazing app and was never glitchy or buggy.
While having this app is better than not having it all, I do struggle with the lack of polish and functionality it provides relative to other automaker apps. For instance Ford, Hyundai, and GM all provide a better overall user experience from what I have experienced. I would love to see what Volvo could do to improve the app as there is a lot of good potential here.
