My original review disappeared it seems. However an update is due as the people behind the app contacted me via a reply to my 1st review. They requested I contact by email and I did so. They have provided a promo code to remove the ads that had started appearing after an update. I have changed my review from 1* to 3* since after using the code the ads went away. While I still do not have the "ultra" mode of VPN pro, that wasn't even an option when I got the app originally. Pleased for now.
The vast majority of the servers just don't work or connect. Most of the ones you end up connecting to (if you connect to any at all) will often have download speeds of less than 1 kbps. Some I've even connected to average 100 bits/s which is essientally unsusable. Very rarely you'll find one that will if you're lucky give you 1-2mbps. Do not buy.
Update:it seems to be a bit faster, but sometimes it has long connection ping times or latency. But just disconnect and reconnect. Some apps that use internet you have to close. Before it will connect. I think it's because this VPN also fools location to the apps on phone. Unlike other VPNs that only change IP address browsing internet sites. Although Google sometimes thinks I'm in Russia and changes the language to Russian. No matter what server location I picked.
