The visual effects look great,no doubt about it. Issues: 1) There doesn't seem to be a way to use a player (say Neutron) and have Vythm respond to that. The microphone mode does work fairly well however. 2) The subscription situation, while desirable by the developers, is not a great deal for us users. One year is $28 for every year forever. This app is nicely done but for $28 I should be able to outright buy it once and all.
I consider myself very picky when it comes to visuals. Most of the time it just doesn't itch the right part of my brain and easily becomes overwhelming. But, this app has been so much fun to play with I love being able to customize the visuals. I'd give it 5 stars if there were only just a few more options, backgrounds, and presets as well as if the subscription was a one time purchase, as apps like this shouldnt have a subscription fee. Otherwise this is genuinely such an amazing app!
I gave the app 5 stars in the hope that more people download the app which will hopefully give the devs the incentive to continue working on it because it seems to crash constantly. I still am unable to import music from my device with out it crashing. Please fix! I've recently started doing projection mapping for several DJays. The capabilities of this app could be a game changer! The visuals are awesome and it is very affordable!
