My.phone is rooted. This app doesn't detect it and won't even generate a root access request. Magisk doesn't recognize it as a root enable app or that it ever asked for root. The app just sits there on the opening screen telling me jow to work around not being rooted. The Mode setting says it's a system app and has root, but the core program doesn't seem to know it.
People are crying and complaining this doesn't work on new android.. the last update was released in 2017. For crying out loud people just use your eyes and logic for 2 seconds to see the information about the app and that the new OS are different from older versions of android. To an extent that even UI elements are incompatible between 10+ and older versions.
A great app! Now I know which apps have been sucking my battery xD I'm using this tool on Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus. My only notice: activate access for the app to battery statistics not using Chrome extension (this way is too clumsy), but via adb, using the command: "adb shell pm grant com.uzumapps.wakelockdetector.noroot android.permission.BATTERY_STATS" P.S. All the negative reviews are from stupid people who cannot set the app properly.
