This DAV server has proven itself to just work pretty much out of the box. I've tried some others that took some messing with settings, but this one tells you the URL to use, and I was able to mount a Windows drive to it easily. The only drawback is that the adds cover the screen and come up every 5 seconds or so, probably because you only need to be in the app for a few seconds to start or stop it and be done.
The free version has obnoxious ads and restricted settings. It does connect to Windows file explorer and Thunar on xfce4. The ads made me uninstall this. Too obnoxious.
App only appears to provide read access to a circular MainStorage directory. Upload / write appears to be impossible. Will mount on Mac OS, but all file creation / update operations return "File exists" which is an obvious lie.
