Edit 18.01.2021: one year later and I still find What's on the menu the best meal planning app! There are a few minor things which don't work perfectly, but for me it's still 5 stars. Hi, I was looking for some time to find a perfect menu planner and there it is! I've been using it for a week or so, just bought Premium, so I can attach photos of the recipes and... I doesn't really make sense to me that from the position of day's menu I can't see photos, steps etc - I have to first look what's on the menu, then go to Personal Food Items, then find what kind of meal it is, then find the item... But overall, app does what it should!
Have tried menu planning apps and like this one best. Wanted something simple to use without a million bells and whistles, something that functions like pen and paper but digitally. It's very easy to use. It doesn't have recipe collections, for example, but I don't need recipe suggestions, 'cause I plan my meals based off of what I buy that is in season or on special and use various recipe sources. I like that the meals can easily be moved around, makes it easy to be flexible with planned meals.
Fantastic app!! Especially the groups! Only one slight inconvenience.... after you create a group, I cant find a way to delete the group. Adding recipes and having the option to add it to a shopping list, that the whole group can see is amazing!!! This is exactly what I need. The pictures are an added bonus!
