Amazing app! It helps a ton to check cool trails and also, record for others to follow yours! However, lately it's been calculating vertical gain and loss very inaccurately. Perhaps support could chime in here. My latest trail says I had 3.3 km in vertical gain. This is impossible obviously. So I'm sure it's got some bug in there that needs to be fixed. Also, seems there is an issue with reporting your trail buddies and like others, it eats my battery like crazy in spite of having closed apps.
Took me a long time to figure out how to upgrade to Premium, but it turned out to be a problem with Google Play, not with the app itself. There are many trails here and I was able to piece together the Camino Augusta, which runs from Gibraltar to Seville. Would be nice if it was easier to connect short hikes into longer ones, but this works. The user interface isn't great. I'll probably have to export the GPX files to something else in order to actually navigate a trail
I have used many mapping programs for many years. The value of this app is the sharing of trips. But I find the app's user interface, both on a phone and the web version on a PC, to be cumbersome at best. I use this app to find a hike, then I export the GPX file that describes that hike to another app that is much better for navigation. Also, when in navigation mode, this app rapidly drains the phone's battery.
